Director of Marketing

Position details:


  • Lead the development and execution of marketing plans in collaboration with Sales, Account Management and Supply Chain for both B2B and B2C business models
  • Analyze data to develop the marketing objectives that will result in the acquisition and retention of customers and overall revenue and market share growth
  • Lead the development and refinement of targeted marketing campaigns and offers that result in high quality sales leads and help define product enhancements and additions
  • Stimulate customer interest and demand through effective product marketing
  • Improve effectiveness and efficiency of all Marketing communications and determine the markets, channels and segments in which to operate
  • Establish product marketing processes, best practices and metrics that measure the effectiveness of the product marketing programs
  • Analyze existing product and markets in terms of the ability to compete, gain market share, grow revenue and profitability
  • Communicate product marketing plans and priorities cross-functionally and collaborate on training programs to facilitate execution
  • Design and execute inventive methods to drive customer traffic, increase loyalty and draw in potential customers to buy, particularly through the web, social media, search engine campaigns, affiliate relationships and comparison shopping engines
  • Conduct ongoing competitive intelligence, research on product marketing, evaluation of trends, etc. and adjust strategy to capitalize on shifts in the marketplace
  • Set department direction, goals, and budget
  • Coach, develop and lead highly effective teams that achieve results

Education/Experience:   Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications preferred with a  minimum 5 years’ experience in in Marketing. Experience with B2B and B2C marketing with a heavy emphasis on e-commerce.
