Banyan Technologies Group Acquires Helm Inc.

Banyan Technologies Group ( today announced that it has completed an acquisition of Helm Inc,, a leading technology and services provider of Brand Marketing and Merchandising, Publications and Print, and Third Party Logistics to the world's best-known companies since 1943.

"With an impressive brand presence, wide technology and services offerings, and 75 years of history in our core end-market focus area of automotive OEM and aftermarket space, Helm is a natural fit with us," said the Banyan Technologies Group Chairman Tanvir Arfi. "We are excited to bring a significant amount of end-market experience, relationships, along with the required capital to accelerate Helm's growth, bringing solutions and technologies at a global scale to Helm's customers."

Helm first formed in 1943 as a commercial trade bindery based in Detroit, Michigan, producing automotive service and owner manuals for automotive dealerships and consumers. Helm continues to be the global leader in this space, providing the widest product selection in this category on the legendary site. Since the early 1990s, Helm has expanded its capabilities, growing into one of the industry's leading providers of Brand Marketing, Merchandising, 3PL Fulfillment Services and Dealer Equipment/Services programs for companies with large networks of corporate employees, franchisees and consumers.
